Tops Sewing and Vacuum wants to ensure your shopping is hassle-free, that's why we offer a 30-day return policy on most products we carry. See limitations and exclusions listed below.

To return an item for any reason, simply contact us or utilize the return item option from within your online account. Please include your order number from your receipt or packing list as well as the reason for return. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, along with instructions on returning your product. Please do not try to return an item without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number; as different products may need to be returned to different locations.

General Returns:

  • Unopened merchandise may be exchanged or refunded. "Unopened" means that the contents have not been removed from its packaging, and all factory seals are unbroken. There is a 15% restocking fee on items being returned for refund, regardless of reason. This fee only applies to items being returned for refund.
  • Opened merchandise may be returned, but only for online store credit, exchange or if necessary product replacement. Merchandise must be returned in its original factory carton (undamaged unit, Styrofoam, warranty card, instruction manual and all included accessories).
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. Items purchased with Free Shipping will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund.

Note: Unless specifically stated as 'commercial' or 'industrial', the products we sell are not intended for commercial or business type use. Any commercial or business type use of product will void all warranties, including the 30 day return policy.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Any item without original outer box and inner packaging.
  • All computer software and hardware
  • All furniture, including sewing cabinets, cutting tables, craft tables etc.
  • All parts, accessories, and notions
    (including, but not limited to: presser feet, cover plates, bobbins, bobbin cases, needles, cases, bags, etc.)
  • Thread
  • Stabilizer
  • Any special order items
  • Air Purifiers
  • Quilting Frames

Defective Merchandise:
If you receive an item that is defective, notify us of the problem to arrange for a repair, replacement or item exchange.
